Personally, I think I'd use the Smartware for baking things like breads, cakes, muffins, casseroles etc. For doing meat, chicken and fish (unless it's part of a casserole type dish) I think I'd just stick to conventional devices/grilling pans etc.
Steak should be cooked under the broiler if you're doing it in the oven and fish is better that way too. Smartware isn't the best for under the broiler cooking. Chicken cooked in whatever random fashion you normally do at about 350 degrees would just be done as usual.
