How to cook steak using a 'slow cooker' ?

How's it going?

I bought a Hamilton Beach Slow Cooker the other day and would like to cook some steaks in it. I am cooking a thick Angus beef steak. How do I cook it and keep it juicy? Can I wrap it in aluminum foil and let it cook inside of the Slow Cooker? If so, for how long? Thank You.

I'm not sure why you would want to cook an excellent steak in a slow cooker. Something like that should be broiled in the oven or done on a grill, using some good steak seasoning. How to cook steak using a 'slow cooker' ?
If you cook it on low for about 5 hours, it will definitely be juicy, no need to wrap it in aluminum foil, if you were cooking it in the oven you could wrap it in aluminum.
Why would you want to use such a good steak like that. Save that for broiling or the BBQ. I wouldn't waste the money on it to do that way. You can take the cheapest, toughest cut of meat and do it on the crock pot and it will come out so tender it isn't funny. So go and have a good BBQ with your meat instead.
I would actually season that Angus steak on both sides and brown it in a skillet and place it into a 400 degree oven for 15 minutes..

but...

The slow cooker method will make it 'fall apart' tender. But if that's what you're after, you could season it on both sides, and briefly fry it *for color only* in a skillet. Then place it in your slow cooker with about 1/2 cup of broth or water. Put in on low, and let it cook for about 5-6 hours.
