How to cook steak in microwave oven?

How to cook a sirloin steak in a microwave oven, not a convectional oven? How to cook steak in microwave oven?
short answer- don't. Steak should be slightly overcooked on the outside and progresively rarer towards the centre. Microwave wil ruin a decent piece of meat. How to cook steak in microwave oven?
Never cook steak in a microwave. I'll just be throwing your money away.
Why not cook it on the stove, or george forman instead???? i don't even like heating up beef in the microwave, never the less cook it there. i guess if you like your steak like roast or beef jerky then go for it.
Please, I beg of you! Don't do it!
That is a terrible idea. You might as well just chew on shoe leather.
I wouldn't ......
You COULD, but it would not taste nice.
lol...i've never cooked meat in my life and even I know you shouldn't do that!
My first advice is do not. Micros cook from the inside out, so you would not be able to have a ';rare to medium'; steak.

';Well done'; and you would put Goodyear Tyre Co out of business - but you would have less punctures!
wait a minute, i used to be head chef at Red Lobster and we cooked steaks in the microwave all the time, thing is that is does have to be cooked over a stove a little bit first, then to turn a really rare steak into a slitghtly rare steak throw it in for a min or so. we used to get tips on those steaks the most!!
