How to cook Steak Fajitas?

I am making steak fajitas tonight, and i have the cast iron fajita pan....Do I cook everything in this pan on top of the stove, or do I put it in the oven?

Or, how do I cook it, I have the recipe for the marinade, but how does the pan work?

Thanks!!

The fajita skillet isn't strictly necessary itself. Any good pan will do. The fajita skillet is just shaped so you can get the steak in it all at once.

Marinate the steak per your recipe. Heat the skillet over medium high heat. Give it plenty of time to heat up and make sure there are no uneven hot/cold spots. Oil it lightly and throw the steak on. Sear for 3-4 minutes per side. It can get smokey so have your vent going. Remove from the heat and let the steak rest for 10 minutes. While the steak is resting, cook the onions and peppers in the same skillet (you may need to add another dab of oil and lower the heat just a bit).

After the steak has rested cut it against the grain (long-ways) and then into 2-3 inch lengths.

If you want your steak a little more well done, cook it as above but place it in a 350 F oven afterward for the resting period instead. How to cook Steak Fajitas?
I put a couple of tblspoons of olive oil in the pan. then put in my seasoned meat. When the meat is almost cooked I add in all my veggies, green bell pepper, red bellpepper and white onion,

then cook until the onion is a golden brown.
use your fajita pan as you would use a normal fry pan.The only difference between the two is that a fajita pan is designed to use in serving the food as well.and should come with a wooden plank to be used as a trivet.
you cook your meat first then you add your spices like onions and greenpeppers then you wait tell its fully cooked after its cooked you put it in the fajita and let them brown in the oven then eat them but just be careful not to over fill the fajita
